Width difference between a pattern ‘group’ block and my own ‘group’ block
-
Hi,
When I add a ‘group’ block to a page, the width is restricted, with apparently no way to extend its width. When I hover over the ‘margin’ setting in the ‘block’ view, I can see there is a margin area to the top and the right hand side (blue in the image below), though margin is set to zero. My ‘group’ block is in orange below:
When I add a WordPress ‘pattern’ block (such as one of the gallery options in the image below), that does extend the full width, even though its settings seem to be exactly the same as my own ‘group’ block. The gallery pattern is below with my group block in orange underneath it:

They are both ‘group’ blocks and both share the same alignment:

Is there a reason my group block refuses to stretch width-wise in the same way the pattern group block does?
Many thanks!
