  How do I control the break in words for the drop down menu or the width of the box – take a look at the drop down for the “Shows”

  Try adding this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

  nav[role="navigation"] ul.sub-menu li,
  nav[role="navigation"] ul.children li {
  	width: 120px;
  }

  Adjust the width value as needed.
