  I am wondering how I can make the width of a custom design blog bigger. Please advise.

  You can widen most themes using CSS, but some are easier than others to manage. Elegant Grunge is probably one of the most difficult because the theme design is made with statically sized background images. It’s a little involved, but if you want to do the work to create new images and implement them, then it can be done.
