width widgets for wordpress elementor
-
Hi,
I am new to website creation and I am currently creating a website for my son who is going to open his business in France. This website is currently hosted locally by WampServer and I use WordPress, Elementor and the AERA theme to design it. I have a side widget area that I would like to reduce in order to leave more space for the body of the site. I don’t know how to do it. I suppose that a CSS could help me but as I explained to you, I am a novice. Could you help me? I will add screenshot to help understand. I would also like the widget side area (where the buttons are) to be able to drop down as the person scrolls. Thanks for your help. -
Hi there,
You’re probably better served by visiting the WordPress.org forum and the Elementor forum:

Hello,
I just posted my message on the 2 forums. Thanks
I thought it was CSS because I know that there is an area where you can add code to change things. Thanks -
If you need to add some custom CSS to your site, you can do this by going to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.
Hope that helps!

Hello,
Yes I know this place to put CSS. However, what I don’t know is the CSS that would allow me to reduce a widget area (side area) to the benefit of the center area where my text is. Thanks

For that, as @stevenlinx pointed out above, you’ll want to go to the WordPress community forums.
Here we can only help with sites hosted on WordPress.com, and yous is not using our platform.
