wiki lite
-
I am an instructor with a class site, http://mba626mgt412.edublogs.org. I have convinced many of my MBA 60 students, who have never blogged before, to move to the WordPress platform after the course ends this week. I am already a WrdPress user.
I will help them export their site form edublogs and import their site to their own WP blog. In edublogs, we have access to a Wiki plug-in. When I search on WP, the Wiki plug-in comes up at a cost of $19 dollars….very reasonable! But in order to install the wiki lite version I need to download the plug-in to a folder called wc-content/plug-ins/. As a WP user I cannot find such a folder on my laptop. Is the wiki lite plug-in only available when I have set-up a separate WP installation on an ISP (like Edublogs)?

Hi there,
We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org. You can find out more about this topic here: http://support.wordpress.com/plugins/
