Will a custom domain forward traffic from my old WordPressdomain to the new one?

  I’m just wondering if I can get a custom domain, Horsegulchblog.com, and have my old web address of horsegulch.wordpress.com forward all traffic to my new custom domain, if I want the upgrade?

  Actually, the two will be one and the same. Think of your new domain as just a fancy new coat for your existing WordPress.com blog.

  Just add it via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

  It does forward traffic to my new custom domain. I just upgraded.
