Will a theme change effect archived posts?

  If I change my theme does that change archived post theme appearance?

  Some themes do display archived posts differently. Mostly, its the difference between displaying the whole post, an excerpt, or just the title.

  Got it. Changes may effect archived posts. My real question is about changing the theme design, i.e. from Comet to Notepad do the archived post view in the new theme design?

  Each theme is unique. To see how your blog looks in any given theme, go to Appearance → Themes and click the Preview link for the theme you’d like to use. Once the theme appears, you can click around inside the preview window to see how it will look.
