  current blog is basic WordPress. will creating a new WordPress web site allow access to Anthologize plug-in?

  Hi – Plugins are not a feature of WordPress.com. In order to install a Plugin you would need to have a self hosted blog with WordPress.org. See the differences here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
