Will an upgrade redirect?

  I put my posts on things like Pinterest. If I upgrade will it redirect the address from abc.wordpress.com to abc.com automatically? Basically, will it redirect people that are going from abc.wordpress.com to abc.com?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, it will do exactly that. Anyone going to abc.wordpress.com will be sent to abc.com automatically.
