Will archiving increase speed of my blog?

  Hi,

  My blog loads up really slowly on any computer. I’m lead to believe that this is due to the number of posts, and that archiving them will improve the speed. Is this the case? Is anything else causing this slowness?

  If it is an archiving issue how do I create an archive?

  You have a lot of pictures, a lot of Posts and a lot of links off site – reduce them. Smaller pictures.

  Dashboard >> Settings >> Reading >> Blog pages show at most – make this a smaller number.

  Use the “Read More” tag so the whole Post does not need to be loaded.http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

  I think that your off site stuff is a bigger issue – your site still has not loaded and is waiting for other sites to send information.
