Will deleting a WordPress site affect its use as a website builder?

    I’m starting a new blog and I’m using separate web hosting while using WordPress as a website builder. I have an old WordPress.com site under the same email so it’s affecting the creation of my blog. If I opt to delete the WordPress.com site, will that also lock me out of my WordPress account and restrict me from using it as a website builder?

    Hi there,

    Your WordPress site at the other host, and your site here with us on WordPress.com, have absolutely no connection to one another, so there’s no way anything you do on our end can affect the other site. We don’t even know what that other site is, as you haven’t shared the URL here :)

    Even though you’re using the same email address for both sites, your admin user account for the new site, and your WordPress.com username account, also have no connection at all between them. both the sites and the accounts are completely separate entities.
