  Hi there,

  The email address will only become available when it’s completely deleted from the account after 30 days.

  So I would recommend first changing this account’s email to something else before you delete it, so the email becomes available immediately. If your email provider allows you to create aliases, you can just change this account to an alias – no need to create a completely new email just for this purpose :)
