Will disabling commenting remove comments already made?

  If I disable commenting from individual post, will the comments already made vanish or does disabling only prevent further comments?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It depends on the theme. Unfortunately, I don’t have a list of themes that delete comments.

  Thanks. I didn’t expect theme would rule, that is quite surprising. Anyways in this case theme is Chateau.

  You can test it yourself. Make a comment on a post which has had no previous published comments. Then disable comments on the post, and see if the comment is deleted.

  Musicdoc1, I’ll go and slap my face couple of times. :-)
