will Domain name still work? (upgade question)

  I am thinking about upgrading my account and want to know if readers will still be able to find my site. If I upgrade so that example.wordpress.com becomes example.com will readers still be able to find my blog? I need to know for SURE before I do anything. Thanks!

  Hi there,

  Once you upgrade to one of the paid plans, you will be able to use a custom domain(which is like “example.com“) instead of “example.wordpress.com“. If your readers visit to “example.wordpress.com“, it will be redirected to your custom domain automatically.

  your domain hides your free WordPress.com address (example.wordpress.com), and your example.wordpress.com subdomain will remain attached to your site as the non-primary domain.
