Will downloadable blogs be in the wordpress.com tag network?

  I currently have a blog on wordpress.com.

  I get a lot of hits by wordpress.com users who click on tags I use.

  If I download a customizable blog from wordpress.org and install it on my website under my own url, will I still be tied into the wordpress tag network?

  No, the global tags pages are for wordpress.COM blogs only. There is no way to tie a self-hosted blog into them. One of the benefits of wordpress.COM.
