Will Google still find a post if I modify its title?

  I have a tutorial series that I’m considering modifying the post titles for. Will this affect Google search results? When I was self-hosted, I know the post id number led Google to the post, just not sure if it works the same way on dot.com.

  Here every post title is embedded into the URL along with the date.
  If you do not want search engine issues with broken links I suggest only changing the post slug or not changing anything at all.

  I’ve been experiencing a drop in stats since I moved to dot.com and I think it’s because I had a custom permalink when I was self-hosted which is different to the date format. I’m just wondering if I decide to make the change, I should do it now while Google is repopulating with my new permalink structure.
