Will I be charged for a subscription?

    Hello, I received a notice that I would be charged $99 for my subscription. I just went online to cancel it and when I went to the Store- My Upgrades page it showed that I don’t have any active subscriptions. I just want to make sure I won’t be charged for this service as I’m not going to use it.

    Hi there. Using WordPress.com is completely free, both for creating and following blogs. You will only be charged if you buy an upgrade for a blog you own. Did you at any time enter your credit card details on the site? If you didn’t then you did not buy an upgrade and don’t need to worry.

    If you did enter your credit card details, let me know and I’ll tag this for staff to check whether you’ve perhaps bought an upgrade without realising it.
