will I ever be able to buy back my domain?

  Hi WordPress,

  Is there any way to get on a waiting list in the hopes that the automated thug who bought my domain won’t renew it next year?

  My domain expired while I was working on boats with very infrequent internet access. On July 23rd (a while after my domain expired) I went to WordPress hoping that I could re-purchase my domain, but apparently on July 22nd it was bought. Over the last few days my old domain, zenacardman.com, has turned into some kind of automated dump that’s 50% nonsense, 25% advertisement, and 25% other people’s blog posts.

  The old domain still shows up as hit number one in Google searches for me, while my new domain, zena-cardman.com, is nowhere to be seen. Huge bummer!

  You can go to http://www.pool.com/ and back order your domain name – I’m not sure on the cost, though.
