Will I get less traffic if I move my blog from wp.com to my own server?

    I want to move my blog on my website’s server, but will this affect my blog’s “visibility” compared to keeping it on the wordpress.com server?

    And will it still pop up under related tags once it’s self-hosted, or is that just a benefit of keeping it on the WP server?

    I’m just wondering about the effect of it on random traffic.

    It will not be a part of the tag system – that is reserved for wp.com blogs only. If you search the forums, there are a number of posts on the effects of moving.
