Will I lose content if I change WordPress themes?

    When I switch themes on my website will my content need to be added or will it transfer?

    Hi @elisamarie616, glad to hear it! I’m going to go ahead and split this thread into a new topic since you might have more questions, and it’s not related to your domain.

    Some themes will replace your front page and make the old page a draft. These are actually just a special front-page layout for that theme. You can either switch back to your old homepage (which will mostly have the same layout as before) or copy your content over as you’d like.

    Some of our other older themes, particularly for blogging, news sites, and portfolios, will require a bit of setup. But none of our theme switches will actually delete your content, so if you switch themes and feel stuck, just reach out here! We’d be happy to help.
