Will I lose my content if I change my blog's theme ?

  Hello,

  I am contacting you because of a question that has been bothering me for some time. I have a wordpress blog since 2019 that uses the “Intergalactic 2” theme (link to my blog : https://thejeffersonscoffee.wordpress.com ), but for a few weeks now, I’ve been wanting to change it – except that, since I’ve already published, written and planned a lot of articles, I’m afraid I’ll lose all my work if I change my current theme with the one called “Dara” (which I really like).

  So, my question is : will I lose all my work by changing my theme ? What will happen, in concrete terms, if I change my current theme to use “Dara” ? I am very scared and need your advice.

  Hi Arizona,

  You will not lose any content on your site by changing the theme on your site.

  When you switch themes, all your existing content carries over. Nothing is deleted, only the aesthetics of your site are adjusted. So it’s perfectly safe to switch the theme on your site.
