Will I lose my non-wordpress domain name if I delete my blog?
-
I recently started a wordpress.com blog but immediately realised I needed to switch to a wordpress.org site. There is very little content on the blog, and so I see no point in exporting it. I have purchased my domain names outside of WordPress, through Crazy Domains. If I simply delete my blog will I lose access to my paid-for domain? Or will I still be able to use that domain name if I start afresh in wordpress.org? I am just concerned about the warning messages associated with deleting a site.
Thanks very much.

Hi there,
You can use your domain elsewhere without any trouble. Since you registered it elsewhere, you will simply need to log into your domain manager and update the nameservers to point to your new hosting provider.
