Will Import from Blogger Break Original Blog?

    I am interested in switching my Blogger blog over to WordPress.com (although I understand the Import feature is a bit sketchy at the moment dude to maintenance). My question is whether or not importing destroys the original Blogger blog? I only have a very few readers, so would like to keep the Blogger one up for a couple of weeks so people know to update their RSS feeds etc.

    Any help/advice would be sincerely appreciated.

    It does not hurt the Blogger blog.

    But! You should still back everything up from there, including the template. Things do happen and a backup is always a Good Thing :)

    Waiting until we are back to full speed woul probably be good.
