Will importing from tumblr delete content on my tumblr?

    Hi, I’m importing content from my tumblr account to wordpress, but in doing so I won’t lose this content from tumblr itself will I? I wanted to keep my tumblr account as it is, but use wordpress as a backup in case anything goes wrong with tumblr.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Importing content to us only copies it onto the WordPress.com site. It will not have any effect on the content on Tumblr’s end.

    However, please note that we’re experiencing a very high volume of Tumblr imports, so if you start an import now it may take a few days before it will actually be run on our system.
