Will importing the content of my Tumblr blog to WP compromise my Tumblr blog?

  If I import the content of my Tumblr blog to WordPress, does this process remove my posts from Tumblr? I just want to copy my Tumblr blog to WordPress in order to backup my Tumblr blog, not to replace it. (I don’t want to import the content of my Tumblr blog, only to find that there’s nothing left of the content on Tumblr.)

  Importing to WordPress.com copies your Tumblr content it does not move it. Your Tumblr won’t be affected.
