Will Insert Media option where a link to a media file is displayed be restored?

  As discussed on this forum thread (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/what-just-changed-with-adding-media?replies=10#post-1240200), I just wanted to find out if the current issue with inserting a LINK instead of the media player will be rectified?

  We’re looking into the issue, but for now, you can get the file’s URL from the Media section of your blog’s Dashboard and insert it like a normal link: http://en.support.wordpress.com/links/
