Will it be possible to add a Custom Search Engine onto a static page?
-
Hello,
Is it possible to include (either):
– a Google Custom Search Engine (CSE)
– or the built-in worpress.com search engineonto a static page with WordPress.com?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, if your static page has a widget area you can include the search widget there. If you only want it to show on a specific page (or pages) you can set the visibility conditions to achieve this.

Hi Hallluke, thanks a lot for your help. Do you think it will be possible to have the search engine located right in the middle of the static page, coming right after a short text (ie, not at the bottom nor side of the page). Sorry because my question was not clear from the start.

If you have upgraded to one of the non-free plans then you might be able to achieve something like this with CSS however it can be a bit tricky depending on how your theme is set up.
