Will my blog eligible to apply for Wordads?

Hi there, I wanted to apply for Wordads. My blog is http://www.onecoincryptocurrency.wordpress.com – I know that I need to have my own domain name which I don’t have yet because ‘onecoincryptocurrency.com’ of my blog is no longer available so I am thinking of another name maybe .biz – My question is, if I register a domain name of my blog, will I be approve for Wordads? Is my topic qualified? I have around 300-600 organic visitors everyday. Please let me know before I pay for my domain name. I hope it’s okay to check out my blog. Thank you very much!

  • Hi there,

In addition to the custom domain requirement, our advertising partners do have a minimum traffic threshold. Looking at your page views, it isn’t possible to earn meaningful revenue given your traffic levels. A site generally needs tens of thousands of page views each month to earn meaningful revenue. Once your site reaches the minimum thresholds, your application will automatically be considered.

For now, I recommend reading this guide:

    Increase Your Site’s Traffic

I want to emphasize sharing your blog with your friends and family. If they like it, they’ll share it with their friends, and so on.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks!

Site Mapping = $13 (per year)
Domain Name = $5-$10 (per year)
So per year that’s around $20. Maybe a worthwhile investment even just for your CV.

However currently WordAds isn’t paying out like it once did. 500 visitors a day = 15,000 per month. Sadly that’s maybe $5 (rough guess) in ads, so it would take over a year to get paid.

  • Yeah, you could be right – but, It’s hard to predict either way. There are many factors that go into whether you will receive a certain amount, but I’m sure that is why we wait until
you get more than 15,000 visitors a month to be approved. Technically, it can be a risk, but if you are getting the required numbers from the right areas to be approved, there is a good chances you will at least cover your domain upgrade each year.
