Will my blog lose page rank if url changed to .com?
-
Will my blog lose page rank if url changed to just ** .com? We have submitted to blog directories, social sites, etc. Will being redirected affect statistics like Google’s webmaster tools? We are unsure if it is worth having to re-submit the blog to sites all over again. Please let us know what you think?
Thank you and best regards,

It shouldn’t be a problem because the old links are 301-redirected to the new ones.
Of course, Google could also change other things (including the rankings) at any time and there are a number of variables involved, like if you make other structural changes to a site or if Google updates their algorithm, which we can’t predict. A page rank is not guaranteed to stay the same, but using a new domain together with a 301-redirect should not affect it.
