will my custom domain stop working if I change my blog url

  Hi there,

  I didn´t find this in the support pages.

  I have a blog : lukascech.wordpress.com, and I also have a custom domain on it: lukascech.com

  I would like to use lukascech.wordpress.com for something else, whilst keeping lukascech.com running on wordpress.

  I would like to show different content on these two domains. Is it possible?

  Hi there!

  To do this, you would need to do a number of steps.

  1. Create a new WordPress.com site by clicking the “create another blog” link here: http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/

  2. Export your content from lukascech.wordpress.com and import it to your new site:

  Export Your Website’s Content

  
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/

  3. Request that a member of WordPress.com Staff transfer your domain from lukascech.wordpress.com to your new site.

  Then, you should be free to delete the existing content on lukascech.wordpress.com and use it for whatever you choose.

  BTW, to a logged out user, your title is “Happinness Engineer”, but to a logged in user it´s “Staff”? :D

  Well, both are correct! My job title is a Happiness Engineer and I am a member of Staff at WordPress.com! :)
