Will my domain name cancel if my premium plan is not renewed?

    I am buying a premium plan which says i have free domain for first year. Question is does the billing start from the second year? If i dont renew my premium plan, is there any way my domain will remain active?

    Since the plan and the domain renew independently, letting your plan expire won’t affect your domain. However, if you only renew the domain, you won’t be able to set it as your site’s primary address. This means that when someone visits your site, they’ll be redirected to its free address (schoolathononsustainability.wordpress.com). To keep your domain as your site’s primary address, an active plan is needed.
