Will my email stop working if I map the domain to my wordpress blog?

  I want to switch my blog to a different url but want to make sure that my e-mail will not stop working through most host provider if I map the domain to a wordpress blog instead of it being a stand alone site.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there!

  If you have a domain registered outside of WordPress.com, and you’ve added email hosting through that registrar, you can still use the same email address after you’ve mapped your domain to WordPress.com.
