Will my link to old articles change If to change username?
-
I am having very lengthy username keycaptchaured which is simply not seen in full while commenting in blogs.
It seems to have determined the links to my articles im blog like:
http://keycaptchaured.wordpress.com/2011/08/16/interested-in-free-captcha-without-ads-do-not-promote-itNow, if I change my username (keycaptchaured) in “Personal Settings” of admin panel of my blog,
will all the links to old articles change correspondingly to, in this example,
NewUserName.wordpress.com/2011/08/16/interested-in-free-captcha-without-ads-do-not-promote-itThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can change what is displayed when you comment by changing your “display” name under account details at users > personal settings. That will show up as the “author” name on posts, and also as the “name” when you comment.
If you did decided to change your username, that will not affect your blog URL, just your username.

I’m sorry, I made a mistake. The display name is changed at “Display name publicly as” in users > my profile.
The change will not be retroactive. All previous comments left on sites will still show the old name. Comments after the change though will show the new name.

I chaged recently displayed name from keycaptchaured to MouthTrapped.
And it ws reflected in my ald commentsIt’s not seen in these posts but if hover the mouse over my gravatar in, for ex.,

you woulв see my displayed name MothTrapped (it was keycaptchaured at the moment of this comment).Still I’m not sure about username.
This is very vulnerable decision to change links I’ve given before.
Can it be read somewhere?
