Hi there,
The way that our servers are configured, your domain can only be pointed towards your site via nameservers. That means that any DNS which you might have had set up previously will need to be re-setup here (including MX records).
The good news is that as soon as you’ve purchased domain mapping, you’ll have access to the DNS interface, so you can set your records up and have our system test them to make sure they’re legitimate records before you change over your nameservers. That way the downtime and impact of the change will be minimal.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Why can’t I just point my DNS records like every other web hosts. ie. RebelMouse don’t force me to do this.
Can you not configure your servers accept cname records?
This is what I thought I was paying for.

I understand your frustration, however this is how our system was configured. I wish there was something I could do to assist further, however I can see that you’ve already cancelled and been issued a refund for your domain mapping.
Is there anything else I can do to help you?

Ok, well that is a shame as a core part of my business involves setting up websites for folk.
Thanks anyway.
