Will my self-hosted wordpress blog appear in wordpress.com search results?

  I just wanted to know if my self-hosted wordpress blog (metascientist.com) will appear in the wordpress.com search results. I have jet-pack installed and use the wordpress.com search often to find other relevant blogs.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Glad to hear you find the Search feature useful.

  Jetpack sites should be discoverable in Search, yes, provided that at least one person is already following the site in the Reader.

  This only applies to the main Reader Search. Tag searches will only show sites hosted on WordPress.com.
