Will my widgets be reset if I change my page design (Without CSS)

I want to change my page design but I don’t know whether my widgets will get reset, will they or won’t they?

That depends. If you are going from a two column theme to another two column theme, then everything should be fine. If you are going from a two column to a one column, then some of your widgets will not make the transfer.

Open a plain text file, and go into all text widgets you have in your sidebar and copy out everything in them and paste it into the text file so you have all the code and stuff. I always keep a saved copy of my widgets in a text file just in case something goes wrong.

    Hi,

I’m using Sunburn and I did write is as a page.
I’m trying to hold off on publishing the blog until I sort it out. Also. Do you know if I can add search terms to my blog and where I would go to do this?

    Thanks.

You cannot add meta tags to the head HTML if that is what you mean. We do not have access to the underlying theme files, and it is not something that can be done with CSS.

Use appropriate tags and categories for your posts and you will be fine. WordPress.COM has a lot of search engine juice.

Do know though that the maximum total number of tags and categories you can have on a post is 12 (sum of tags + categories). Anymore than that and you will likely be excluded from the wordpress.COM global tags pages, and being on the global tags pages gives you a lot of search engine advantages.

Also, your question was a little off topic for this thread. Next time start a new one.
