Hey there! Sorry about that, we’ve been seeing this error more frequently lately for some reason. Can you tell me which province you need to enter?

That’s Americans for you. Some even think our country the second largest on the planet is a state (joke). So, are you an Albertan?

For a better understanding of ISO 3166-2 codes see this article:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2And this article for ISO 3166-2 codes in Canada:

P.S. I couldn’t resist the American and Alberta tie-in there … lol :D. Now I’ll go away and Staff will assist you.

@ariwinokur
Thanks so much for the links. I’m closing down my business for today and logging out here too, but I will check them out tomorrow. -
Thanks! Our developers are working on getting this fixed.
In the meantime, for Alberta, you’ll want to enter ‘AB’.
Let me know if you still get that error, or if you get a different one!

The links that @ariwinokur posted are exactly where we check. :)
We do have a few countries that are non-ISO and those are hardcoded by us. So if you come across any thread where you can’t find an ISO code from those links, just modlook it and we can find the right one. :)

The only thing you have to change is to drop the “CA-” part of the code. That’s how @shawnajroberts got the AB code for you.
-
Yep! The ‘CA’ part is covered by the country input, so you just need the province’s code.
