Will not allow me to log in

    I have been at this all day with no help. Everything was working fine yesterday and I was able to work on my site. I have not yet moved my domain because I currently have my site hosted somewhere else while I build the new one. I know I have it at WordPress.com because even when I try to go to .org it says I have no account. I have reset my password about 5 times today but yet it still says I do not exist. Can someone please explain to me what is going on and is there a way to talk to someone that actually works here? I pay money yet seems like pulling teeth trying to get in touch with someone .

    I know I have it at WordPress.com because even when I try to go to .org it says I have no account.

    You actually don’t need an account on WordPress.org to have a WordPress site. Many hosts have a one-click installation tool. Then you would have your own login to your own installation, separate from WordPress.com and WordPress.org. You would log in with that here:
    http://4g1.4a7.myftpupload.com/wp-admin

    Can you clarify who you’re sending money to? That’s likely your service provider and your best first point of contact.

    And, WordPress.org is a site for the community that uses and develops the free code. You’d need to create an account there to use their forums, however you’ll want to understand there isn’t a dedicated customer support team for the free code itself. We have dedicated customer support for our hosting service, and I’m guessing your host has support, too, so they’ll be your best bet.

    Thank you for the reply. When I am at work I went to the link you posted which is where I had been logging in before: http://4g1.4a7.myftpupload.com/wp-admin and I still get an error saying email or password is wrong and I know it’s correct. I went on the same link from my home computer yesterday and was able to log in. I know this is not an IT issue with work as I have already checked. So is this a GoDaddy issue or where to I go for help?

    Hello there,

    In case the admin name or password doesn’t work, you can reset the password by clicking on the “Lost password” link.

    WordPress.com has no control over sites hosted elsewhere, so your hosting provider may be able to help you if you are still having problems.

    I have reset the password many times. That is not the issue but thank you for the reply. This site only lives on WordPress right now. I have not linked it to my domain yet because it is not finished.
