Yet it won’t let me post and start my blog. Please help. Thanks!

Hi there,
First, I noticed you have submitted multiple requests for support. To keep our conversation organized, I’m going to respond to your questions here and close the other requests. Please keep all further correspondence in this thread.
It looks like you were able to successfully confirm your email address. Can you confirm that you’re able to post to your blog?

No, I had to change my email to an old email. I need it to be (email visible only to moderators and staff) is that ok to switch back? Also, I have 33 imported posts from my godaddy blog that I cannot post. Also, is there a place for somebody to just add their email to receive my blog posts easily? Is there customer service phone number, I have a million questions :)

Hi!
See my answers below:

Yep! You can change it following the instructions here:
Just a note, that looks like a custom domain email address. You’ll want to make sure that stays up and running if you make any changes to your domain. If you lose access to the email address after you change the email on your account, you will not be able to recover your account should you get locked out or forget your password.
I have 33 imported posts from my godaddy blog that I cannot post.
You should be able to publish them all by clicking “Quick Edit’ and changing the status to “Published” as shown here:
This is explained in detail here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#quick-edit
Also, is there a place for somebody to just add their email to receive my blog posts easily?
Yep! You can accumulate followers on your blog as explained here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/followers/
The easiest way is to use the Follow Blog widget as described here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
Is there customer service phone number, I have a million questions :)
Currently, we don’t offer support over the phone. But, I’m happy to answer any questions you have here (although a million might take awhile :) )!

THANK YOU! Here are a couple more, How do I get rid of the Leave comments link? I don’t want people to leave any comments. Also, I want my about page to be connected to my page easier. I can’t seem to view all about my group at the same time they see blog posts. I don’t like the widget about.me it’s annoying. I just want to type in a couple paragraphs that stay fixed on the page. Or a tab they can click. But would rather have it on the home page. Essentially, I want a mix of a website with a couple pages and blog posts once or twice a month. I am willing to send my 99$ again if it means I can get a simple “website/blog” ( I cancelled my 99$ earlier today, I was getting frustrated with this. I need to speak to somebody!!!)

Hi there,
Please see my answers below!
How do I get rid of the Leave comments link? I don’t want people to leave any comments.
Instructions for disabling comments can be found here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/
You can change the default setting for posts and pages (so that they don’t allow comments by default) following the instructions here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/
Also, I want my about page to be connected to my page easier. I can’t seem to view all about my group at the same time they see blog posts. I don’t like the widget about.me it’s annoying. I just want to type in a couple paragraphs that stay fixed on the page. Or a tab they can click. But would rather have it on the home page.
It sounds like the best bet would be to create both a page and a widget. It looks like you already have a static page here:
http://pakcharlotte.wordpress.com/about/
So, you already have an About page created. Now, you just need to create a menu so visitors can see the different pages you have on your site and click to access them. You can do that following the instructions here:
Next, you’ll want to create a separate widget. The widget will live on your sidebar so that visitors will see a bit about you on your home page. Then, you can include a link that says something to the effect of “Read more about this site” with a link to your About page. Does that make sense?
The easiest way to do that is to add a Text widget to your sidebar:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/
You can enter as much or as little text as you want. Then, where you want the link to be to link to your About page, use this line of text:
Read more about my site! You can of course customize the “Read more about my site!” to say whatever you would like.
Essentially, I want a mix of a website with a couple pages and blog posts once or twice a month. I am willing to send my 99$ again if it means I can get a simple “website/blog”
There’s no need to buy the Premium bundle in order to create pages and posts. Both are possible with the free version of WordPress.com. Here are some helpful support docs:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/Once you create a new page, you’ll just want to add it to your menu so viewers can see a link to the page on your sidebar. This doc explains how to add new pages to your existing menu that you will have created above for your About page:
Please let me know if you have additional questions!

PERFECTO!!!! Thank you soooooo much!!!! One more thing, it’s a visual thing, on the page, for some reason it has my picture then a tiny picture of my picture within it. How do I get rid of the tiny version that is embedded on it.
-
two more questions…I am confused as to which I should give to godaddy and my members as our blog address… Godaddy managed our blog until they just announced they are discontinuing blog service. They are going to point blog.pakcharlotte.org and http://www.pakcharlotte.org to my new wordpress blog. Do I want pakcharlotte.wordpress.com pakcharlotte.wordpress.com/about? It seems weird to have them have to type in the about one but I like the way it looks better. I want the first thing the people see is the about page, but I would like the most recent post to be more visible than just a line on the widget side. Should I pick a different theme?

Howdy!
Please see my answers below:
How do I get rid of the tiny version that is embedded on it.
Navigate to Appearance -> Customize -> Theme and delete your email address from the “Gravatar Email” field.

This is going to be a bit of personal preference. You can set the About page to be the home page of your site by following the instructions here:
However, like you said, your visitors would need to click on a menu in the sidebar to see your most recent posts.
The current theme you’re using is designed to display the most recent posts in the main column on the home page with an About blurb on the sidebar with a link to the About page so readers can learn more.
On the other hand, you could consider switching to a theme like Motif seen here:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/motif/
That’s more designed to handle static “About-like” content on the front page and use the menu at the top for readers to find your latest blog posts (although it has a “Recent News” spot on the home page as well). Is that closer to what you’re looking for?

You are a gem, thank you so very much, love that theme so much better, already changed it, ! I think I am done with my questions…for now :)
-
Not a problem! Please let me know if you think of any additional questions along the way.
