Will paying for premium give me access to the database and the file system?

  If i pay for premium and get an upgrade to 10GB space, do i get access to the file system to change the code myself? I will also want to know if i can get access to the mysql db that is being used behind the scenes.

  Hi there,

  No – even with the 10GB Space Upgrade, you’re not provided with CPanel access or any behind the scenes code. This limitation is imposed for security reasons. The only code modifiable at WordPress.com is CSS. That is available through the Custom Design upgrade shown here:
