    Hi @upwardsup,

    from what I have seen posts nor pages are counting towards the 3GB limit still, only items in the Media Library and that is still not looking to change :) If you need anything else please let us know!

    But as another long-time forum volunteer, timethief, pointed out in that same old thread,

    Anything could change in the future, but the likelihood of this changing now or even in the near future is extremely low so don’t get fixated on worrying about it, please.

    Text in posts and pages in general has little “weight” compared to uploaded files and/or images in your Media Library. You could potentially have hundreds of posts and hundreds of pages on your WordPressdotcom site. If you resize and optimize your images before you upload them, it will take you a very, very long time to use up your 3GB of free space and you can embed media from other sources in your posts and pages that doesn’t take up any space in your media library at all.

    But I do see that you have asked this question repeatedly over time. Is there a specific site you are concerned about? Or a specific reason?
