Will purchasing a domain still show the full postname in the url

    I want to purchase a domain for my blog. I wondered will it just show up as the .com domain on every page or will it act like a regular website and show my custom domain name with the post name/category etc in each post or pages url? Hope that makes sense!

    eg: mydomain.com (stays in the url bar the whole time no matter what page you visit) or

    mydomain.com/postname

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    It is the latter.

    Your pages, posts and all other contents will be preceded by your custom domain name like mydomain.com/postname etc.

    Your WordPress.com dashboard will still be at cravingminimalism.wordpress.com/wp-admin but your visitors have no business here.
