will site stats transfer if blog address is changed?

  If I want to change my blog address (the part right before the .wordpress.com) so it’s shorter, will site stats and subscribers be transferred over?

  And i’m assuming if people click on links with the former address, unless I buy a site redirect package, it won’t work.

  Hi. In regards to the stats, unless another volunteer has an answer, I suggest you contact staff to find out:

  Regarding the old URL, you are correct. You need to purchase the site redirect upgrade, otherwise the old URL will no longer work.
