WILL SOMEONE HELP ME FOR GOD'S SAKE?!?!?!!
-
I am trying to get access to a site that I DEVELOPED. IT’S MINE!!! Yet, I can see it!!
-
-
reparingalife.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.
Is this the site you are shouting about? If not, to get help from a knowledgeable member like musicdoc1 why not share a few more details.
-
simple…. i got tired of typing over and over and over the same thing and NO one answered me until I had to SHOUT!
And I have been waiting for MONTHS for some help….. MONTHS.
-
BTW, you pulled the wrong one
The one that I’m trying to access is repairing.wordpress.com

@ beazee,
Here’s the site URL: https://repairingalife.wordpress.com/. Are you able to log in to the site? If so, try this page: https://repairingalife.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php. That’s the site’s wp-admin dashboard.
If you are having trouble logging in then you might need the Account Recovery support page.
You may, if you like, make “repairingalife” your primary site at Account Settings.

aaaaaand I think I know what may have happened….. Ugh… my LIFE!
I think in my frustration when I was trying to add this to the email I already had, I used the email for the original URL… WHICH I don’t have access to that email any longer and can’t retrieve a new password.
At least I think that’s what might have happened.
Anybody I can talk to about that?
-
You’re welcome.
I don’t have access to that email any longer and can’t retrieve a new password.
There are other ways beyond password reset for recovering the account. Did you see the alternatives in the Account Recovery support page?
Anybody I can talk to about that?
Staff may just refer you to the account recovery page, but you may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention.

Thanks. But it’s asking for verifications, that I can’t offer being that I don’t have access to the email since I don’t have a cPanel any longer. I have a URL, but no email

In the topic I can’t access changes on a web page I added, you said:
This is an update. I added a domain to my account, but I can’t access the web page. HELP!
In the Account Recovery Form section of the Account Recovery support page, I find among the pieces of information that may be used to verify that you are the owner of the site in question:
Transaction ID: A transaction ID is a unique alphanumeric code generated for your payment. If you purchased an upgrade on the blog in question — via PayPal, credit card, or another method — you can retrieve a transaction ID by logging in to your PayPal account or locating a past WordPress.com receipt sent to your email address.
According to the Domains support page:
Adding a domain to your site (either registering a new domain or mapping one you already own) requires a WordPress.com plan [premium or business plan].
You’d have to pay for the plan. Did you purchase the premium plan for https://repairingalife.wordpress.com/? And do you have access to proof of purchase of the same (via PayPal, etc.)?
-
I appreciate your help. You’re helping me sort this out and try to do some detective work.
When I looked at another email address to see if I could find examples of the verifications, I saw where I transferred this to that email.
I didn’t buy any premiums.
So…. I’m at the account that should have the domain, but it’s not listed in that account.
Maybe I should just give up and buy a one.com site. Maybe in a year, I’ll be able to afford the usual annual fee.
-
I forgot to add link the Domains support page in my previous post.
You’re welcome. I’m just trying to mention some other possible alternatives that might be useful for verification purposes. They may be applicable in your case. Why not add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar (of this topic) to call for staff attention? A staff member will have more experience in resolving such an issue, and will be able to assist you better in determining whether verification will be possible in this case, and how to best increase your chances of successfully recovering the account through the Account Recovery Form process.

Thanks again. I added that tag.
I haven’t even had the opportunity to transfer the domain to the site. I’ve had the domain for almost a year now on another host. I wanted to save some money and using wordpress.com and not .org.
But this whole bloody thing is breaking down my life and not helping.
Thanks again for all of your help.
