Will stats prior to 2009 ever be accurate on the new stats page?

  Is there any plan to fix stats prior to 2009? My blog has been active since 2006. I know (and can confirm on the old stats page) that I had thousands of views prior to 2009, but the “Years” chart shows 0 views for 2006-2008.

  Amusingly, it shows I got 222 comments in 2007 (which sounds about right), even though it thinks I received no views.

  I realize that most blogs haven’t been around that long, so I’m sure this bug doesn’t affect tons of people. I would just like to know that it’s on the list of fixes to be made at some point–or if there is no intention of fixing it, let us know that.

  What are you seeing on the new stats page in the years view? Are your stats accurate? If it’s a problem with my blog specifically, I’ll submit a bug report.

  I have only once looked at the new stats view; it’s pretty much useless to me since the stat I’m most interested in is views/visitor, which it doesn’t show at all.

  yep, shows almost 900,000 in 2009, and zero for every year before that.
