Will the Amazon Affiliate plugin ever be available on WordPress.com?

  I think that having the Amazon affiliate plugin available to wordpress.com users would be really useful. I don’t think people should have to host their own blog to have access to affiliate programs (mostly because I myself am completely clueless when it comes to those things). Is there any develop looking into this?

  Why would it be useful to WordPress.com? The for-profit alternative exists in paid hosting using wp.org software. WordPress.com deliberately want to minimize the for-profit options here.
