Will the wordpress.COM folks transfer my followers over to my new .ORG site?

  I just recently switched my blog over from wordpress.com (http://2ndhandknowledge.wordpress.com) to self-hosted wordpress.org (http://2ndhandknowledge.com). Same blog, I was just ready for an upgrade. I have 108 followers on my .com blog, and I’d like to transfer those over to my .org blog. I’ve installed Jetpack and connected the two accounts, and I read that if I posted here in the .com forum, someone would transfer those followers over for me. Help would be greatly appreciated!
