Will this be around forever?

  I don’t want my content to just disappear all the sudden.. Will they be around forever for my to keep blogging my whole life?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.com has many redundant servers and does have backups of our data. If you wish you can occasionally export a file of your content out of your blog and save it to your own computer.

  Go to Tools -> Export in your WordPress.com dashboard to download an XML file of your blog’s content. This format, which we call WordPress eXtended RSS or WXR, will contain your posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags.

  Links must be exported in a separate file > http://en.support.wordpress.com/blogroll/import-export-links/

  As far as wordpress closing down or anything like that, nothing is ever certain and nothing is ever forever, but I doubt it is going anywhere anytime soon (soon being many, many years). Anyone that promises you a certain service, on the internet or otherwise, is going to be around forever is lying to you.
