Will WordPress not let users use URLs of blogs that have been deleted?

  I set up a blog with the URL I wanted, but then deleted it when I realized I could just change the URL of my original blog. Now WordPress won’t let me add that URL. Is there any way to fix this or does WordPress not allow it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Once a URL is deleted it is gone. It’s for this reason that there are so many warning messages and a confirmation email when you try to delete a blog. It is also not possible to register a URL that someone else deleted. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
