Willing to PAY $$ for someone to resolve issue with domain mapping/nameservers
-
Here is my issue:
My domain was purchased from wordpress in 2011. Shortly thereafter, I changed the nameservers for my domain to point to a website hosted at bluehost. This has been a perfectly agreeable scenario for many years.
My domain registration is active, and it does not expire until Feb 2017.Sometime on Wed night, the mapping for my domain (and other domains for other people, apparently) was deleted, by some grace of satan or maybe ISIS hackers, I’m not sure which.
I was able to upgrade my service and get my domain mapped to wordpress, but am unable to update the nameservers to map to bluehost (option to update name servers does not exisit in my account).
I am already premium/business subscription holder, but am unable to engage live chat to resolve the issue. Time is of the essence as my business is down.

Okay, your domain should be renewed now. However, as you have purchased multiple WordPress.com plans for a self-hosted site, I think we need to straighten that out.
I am sending you an email to the address associated with your WordPress.com account. Please let me know if you do not receive it.

To everyone else having domain issues…
WordPress.com staff is attending our once a year all company meeting. However, there is a team of us keeping an eye out and will help you as quickly as we can.
To make that go faster, please make ONE thread of your own and add the “modlook” tag to that thread. The modlook tags gets our attention and having your own thread helps staff work more quickly. It is very confusing to try and work through a thread with a dozen users with a dozen different sites posting to it.
